I should have written this earlier but I procrastinated a lot until someone told me 27 September 15 is the last day. That’s tomorrow or today depending on the time I publish this post. I have been discussing with my friends who have went for both exhibitions and we concluded one thing: Visit The Deep first before Dreamworks. Because you might feel the gloom after looking dead specimens in the abyssal-like maze and even more so if you have walked through the lively colourful animated tour.
Good thing I did the deepsea tour first, claimed that disgustingly lukewarm A&W and proceeded with the fun exhibition. The clay figurines, yellow layout and animated videos off the walls were eye catchy but I was more drawn to the panda illustrations. Unlike The Deep exhibition which was empty when we went, Dreamworks was much more lively with kids running around as if you’re in a carnival.
Whoa, the Furious Five! You’re so much bigger than your action figures! Except for you, Mantis. You’re about the same. Oh wait. Mantis was not in this exhibition… My eyes were fixated on the Far Far Away Castle model. I spent a good 20 minutes capturing various angles of it and I couldn’t decide which was the best but these two shots were my favourite.
I hope my photos do justice to the exhibition for those who couldn’t manage to see them. For that one friend that went with me, it was awesome.
For the other friend who wants to go but can’t find anyone else, I don’t mind going again.
